Yeast Dryer
Brewer’s yeast dryer is a kind of drum dryer that uses steam to heat materials and vaporize water through indirect conduction heating. The core technology of the dryer is temperature control to avoid killing the beneficial ingredients in the yeast. It is especially suitable for the recycling of brewer’s yeast produced during beer production and fermentation.
Our yeast dryer is divided into single-cylinder type and double-cylinder type, which can meet the needs of breweries of different scales. The yeast dryer is suitable for drying liquid raw material or viscous materials in chemical, dye, medicine, food, metallurgy and other industries.

Yeast Dryer Structure
The main machine of the yeast drying equipment is composed of drying cylinder, frame, transmission system, scraper device, material limiting device, scraping device, dipping device, and steam circuit system. In addition, it is also equipped with electrical control cabinet and exhaust hood.
Working Principle of Yeast Dryer
The preheated slurry is put into the preheating tank and preheated to about 50°C. Then it is fed into the dipping tank with a feed pump. The cylinder is immersed in about 60-80mm, and the outer surface of the rotating cylinder is evenly coated with a layer of slurry. The steam pressure in the dryer is 0.15-0.3Mpa, and the dried material is scraped off by the scraper, then falls to the discharge port for collection.
